Okay, so I am not one of those girly girls who gets freaked out by every little creepy crawly. I hate snakes, but everything else I can pretty much handle. I actually like bugs in a way, I think they fascinating, and seriously unless it’s some highly poisonous spider they can’t really do any harm. But like with everything I have my limits.
My point is, I have reached my limit! My view has changed from “living in a gorgeous little cottage” to “what did I get myself into”. As if the ticks weren’t bad enough. On Friday I decide to do a proper spring clean, move everything, sweep, was, get my hands dirty. Done with my living area/dining room/kitchen I move to the bedroom / bathroom. Sweep sweep, ooh a little worm, ooh another one. I found about 10 of these little white worms. They all seem to occur more or less in the same spot, but no they are not worms. I am so grossed out it’s not even funny! Maggots! I think something died in my roof. It is the only logical explanation that I can think of. I went as far as checking if I hadn’t left anything edible in my pockets as the clothing rail is close to “the spot” where they keep on miraculously appearing. I shook my carpets out, checked under the bed and cupboard. But they just by the doorway in the middle of my 2 rooms! Seriously this is me still being calm, I have frikking maggots! I can’t even begin to think how disgusting this is! Help me because seriously, SERIOUSLY!
Something is frikking rotting in my roof! Funny but there is no smell. I am not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. Now what do you do, do you spray and kill the maggots or do you leave them till they have done their job and gobbled up whatever corpse it is lying up there. I am so freaked out right now!!!
