I just need to share this, I met just such a person on Saturday evening, and after boring me with his origin and family history and me politely excusing myself from the torturous conversation, he came back later to say that he is leaving. His last words after inviting me with were a ramble of some random numbers. Ye

I am not being rude, I love people, I love different kinds of people, I love meeting new people, but most importantly I love having conversation. And conversation doesn’t mean that when I ask you one polite question you start at the beginning and never stop talking.
Take a step back and embrace the diversity of the people around you, you will realize that there is more to life than your little bubble and you might even learn that listening will get you a lot further than self-absorption. The way I see it people don’t care enough anymore, because we have all fallen into the trap of “I am too busy”. Seriously!!!!!! We are all too busy, you don’t want me to tell you what I have on my plate at the moment, but unlike you I have realized that everyone’s problems now matter how small, are huge to them, everyone’s life no matter how mediocre is extremely busy! We are all busy, we all have a lot to do, but it is those of us that make time no matter how busy we are that really and truly know how to embrace those around us. And at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what you do and how busy you are, what matters is those around you, those people who you must realize will someday not be there anymore, and then you are going to regret always being to busy. So I leave you with this, next time someone asks you “How are you” don’t say its going well, don’t say your life is busy, rather think of a more creative answer, a more honest answer, and then ask them how they are doing…

So... as I was saying, that was the month that my brother lost his nipple to a raccoon - shortly before my other brother...

Finally someone who is brave enough to speak her mind! You go girl! I am so tired of sitting infront of someone and they are making as if they are interested in what I have to say...it's so frustrating! So I want to thank you...and I hope people open their eyes every now and again. I look forward to the next inspirational piece of honesty... Vee
