That could mend broken hearts. There is a Chinese proverb (which I hate) that reads "Everything comes to an end"… But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. No one said it would be easy, but they never said it would be this hard. How do you come to terms with it…? Cant we just change the "phone a friend" option to a "see into the future" option so we can see that it will be okay in the end.. No matter how difficult it is to imagine at this moment, time is the only band aid that can mend the un-mendable. How do you do something that you know will be bettering the end when it is this difficult to do? When you know in your heart that it is the right thing to do. But how do you ever know for sure. I have come this far and turning around now will just make it more difficult in the future.
Time is never wasted, good memories are always made and bad ones forgotten. In the end when looking back those memories are the only things that matter, they enrich your life and tell tales of times well spent. Those are the thing that shape and mold us into what we have come to be, the people, events, and times spent together that will never be erased from your mind. We regret more of the things we didn't do than we regret the things we did. Certain people will always be carried close to your heart no matter what happens in the end. And one thing coming to an end only means that there is a new one about to start, even if you don't want a new one to start it is needed, no matter how much it hurts now, when looking back it will be realized that we must trust in things working out best for the people who make the best of the way things work out. A lesson is always learned and you come out a better person on the other side.
