Don't count your chickens before they have hatched!

So you remember how excited I was about my electric blanket, yes yes no more getting into a freezing bed! It sure gets cold here, I am scared as the worst is till to come and they predicting 6 cold fronts on the way! Six!!! How I am enjoying the sunny days with no rain this week, soaking it up as it will be the last for quite some time!

I took all the linen of my bed and fit my electric blanket, back on with the fitted sheet flat sheet, duvet, pillows and lovely colourful throw pillows sent from home. What a difference they make giving that homely touch. Shit, the cord is to short to reach the plug and I turn the mattress around on the base moving the frill and just missioning! Okay plug reachable, bed made lets do this! Oh, nice IT DOESN'T WORK! The entire 30 minute exercises just to realize that there are no little red light going on and the one switch button is missing!

Of goes all the bedding, AGAIN! Take the electric blanket of and fit the sheets and throw the pillows! Thanks Zellie, I wish they checked before they left home cause that stupid broken thing took up half my precious space in the bag of goodies sent down! But oh well that will teach me to check and not count my chickens before they have hatched. They can be glad that we have been blessed with great weather this week!
